(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Ha Tinh Province is strengthening control over shrimp seed quality to minimize risks for the 2026 spring–summer farming season.

The province plans to stock more than 2,000 hectares of shrimp, with demand estimated at nearly 1 billion post-larvae, while local supply remains limited and heavily dependent on hatcheries from other provinces.
In response, authorities are intensifying inspection and supervision of seed sources, requiring clear documentation on origin, quarantine certification, and quality standards. At the same time, local agencies are advising farmers to choose reputable suppliers, adhere to seasonal stocking schedules, and enhance disease prevention measures.
