INFOFISH, in collaboration with international partners, will organize the 13th International Symposium on Tilapia in Aquaculture (ISTA13) together with the 5th World Tilapia Trade & Technical Conference and Exhibition (TILAPIA 2025), taking place from November 3–5, 2025, at the Swissotel Ratchada, Bangkok, Thailand.
Under the theme “Innovation, Integration and Profitability in Tilapia Aquaculture: Modernization for a New Era,” TILAPIA 2025 is the largest global event for the tilapia industry, bringing together producers, processors, traders, equipment suppliers, researchers, investors, international organizations, and regulatory bodies from across the world.
The event will:
- Provide updates on tilapia production and market status in key countries and regions.
- Discuss technological and innovation trends, from genetics, nutrition, and biosecurity to standards, certification, and fish welfare.
- Feature an international trade exhibition, showcasing the most advanced technologies, equipment, and products in the tilapia value chain.
- Organize a post-conference technical field trip to tilapia farms in Thailand.
Notably, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Nam – General Secretary of Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) – will present a paper at the conference on the Vietnamese tilapia industry, focusing on production, market, products, industry challenges, and future development prospects.
The participation of the VASEP representative demonstrates Vietnam’s active role in the global tilapia value chain and is an opportunity to promote the image of Vietnamese seafood to the international community.
