Tightening the control on Ethoxyquin in shrimp exported to Japan
(vasep.com.vn) In June 27th 2012, National Agro–Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department (NAFIQAD) has issued the official letter No. 963/QLCL-CL1 directing Ethoxyquin control on farmed shrimp consignments exported to Japan.
Accordingly, NAFIQAD asked seafood exporters to Japan to add HACCP plan with detection and control of Ethoxyquin hazard on farmed shrimp products shipped to Japan in which it is urgent to test carefully Ethoxyquin residue in raw shrimp and in finished shrimp products before exporting them to Japan.
