A key highlight of this year's exhibition, the Hosted Buyer Program is tailored for international buyers seeking reliable, high-quality seafood suppliers capable of meeting the increasingly stringent requirements of global markets.
The program focuses on creating targeted business connections by matching buyers with the right suppliers based on purchasing needs and product categories. Through pre-arranged one-on-one B2B meetings, international buyers will have the opportunity to discuss production capabilities, product portfolios, quality standards, certifications, traceability, logistics solutions, and long-term partnership opportunities directly with Vietnamese seafood companies.
One of the program's featured events is the seminar "Vietnam Seafood Outlook 2026–2027: A Strategic Sourcing Hub," scheduled for August 19. The seminar will provide buyers with valuable insights into Vietnam's seafood supply capacity, pricing trends, and market positioning, alongside in-depth analyses of the pangasius and shrimp sectors and key compliance issues. Topics including IUU regulations, the U.S. Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), traceability, ESG, and certification trends will help importers develop informed sourcing strategies for Vietnam in 2026–2027.
In addition to the formal business meetings, the Hosted Buyer Program offers guided exhibition tours led by industry experts, networking opportunities at the B2B Lounge, and dedicated networking sessions throughout the exhibition.
